- Let me introduce myself. My name is Kathleen (aka Kasa on my paintings, a nickname I have had since a small child.) I have lived the majority of my life in Northern California. As an adult I have lived all over the US and in Europe. I have had the pleasure to see many different landscapes in my travels. I am a self taught artist. I have loved art since I could pick up a pencil. I started drawing anything I saw, from a beautiful china pattern to the sunday comics. Then my Dad would make it tougher for me by handing me a National Geographic magazine. I loved and embraced the challenge. My mediums of choice are acrylics and oils. I paint a lot in Tole style and I love landscapes. I plan to start painting wildlife here in the near future. If you'd like to contact me, please feel free.
